Tembo Beer Garden

TEMBO, the major entertainment attraction in Mombasa for Kenyans and Tourists, was built in an old quarry in a typical East- African building style with a huge Makuti (Swahili for Palm- Leaf) covered roof in August 1996.

It is a huge open air multi layered club with various species of tropical plants and flowers and a number of decorative light effects which gives it an enchanting atmosphere.

Established in the complex is a beer garden and barbecue restaurant open 24- hours, every day throughout the year. Tembo has seven bars, all well stocked with Kenyan and International Beverages. The cozy bar is stuffed with national and international drinks and the friendly barmen invite for an ice- cold and refreshing drink.

They prepare and nicely decorate delicious cocktails like a Red Massai, Green Mamba, Top of Mount Kenya or a Kenya Libre Long drink.

Also available is the pool billiard lounge, a beauty centre and a variety of events throughout the year to satisfy every taste from live concerts to wrestling, boxing, body building and beauty contests.
