It brings light into the lives of thousands of human beings. Lighthouse for Christ is an eye hospital which endeavors to serve both who are visually impaired as well as those who are spiritually handicapped.
Blindness and other forms of eye disease are rampant in Kenya.

The Lighthouse for Christ Mission is located in Mombasa, Kenya, the country's second largest city, with about one million inhabitants. The Eye Center is the largest component of the Lighthouse for Christ Mission, which also includes a Bible Institute, a fellowship of churches, and programs focusing on evangelism.

Lighthouse for Christ Eye Center is run in partnership between Lighthouse for Christ and CBMI. Providing eye care and blindness prevention programs, the Mombasa clinic also operates several mobile eye clinics in the Coast Province of Kenya and beyond. The eye unit is a modern clinic and surgical facility, and the only facility on the Kenyan Coast capable of performing pediatric cataract surgery.

In 2003, the clinic witnessed more than 26,000 patients and performed over 2,000 major eye surgeries. A clinic for the examination of patients is held twice a day, five days per week. There are also regular mobile eye clinics that are dispatched to surrounding rural areas to identify and treat new patients.
