Pandya Memorial Hospital

The Hospital, now being in existence for over five decades, began as a tribute to the late J.B. Pandya. Pandya is a non- profit making service- oriented institution which started as a small clinic comprising of a maternity unit and a surgical wing, and developed to become the first private multi- racial hospital in Kenya and came to be known as the Pandya Memorial Hospital in 1985.

The hospital provides ‘complete Medical Care' with services ranging from a 24- hour outpatient and casualty unit, laboratory, and pharmacy to x- ray and a modern ambulance.

Other facilities available are radiology, sinology and CT scan facilities, as well as state of the art renal unit; the only one at the coast and also a modern Dental unit. There is also a Doctors' Plaza on the campus which hosts different specialists.

It was the first private institution in Mombasa to have a CT Scan Centre, a mortuary and a renal unit. There are also services for AIDS and diabetes by a professionally trained counselor. A dietician and nutritionist are also available to cater for those with any medical problems due to diet.
