Tembo Disco

TEMBO, the major entertainment attraction in Mombasa for Kenyans and Tourists, was built in an old quarry in a typical East- African building style with a huge Makuti (Swahili for Palm- Leaf) covered roof in August 1996.

It is a huge open air multi layered club with various species of tropical plants and flowers and a number of decorative light effects which gives it an enchanting atmosphere.

Established in the complex is a beer garden and barbecue restaurant open 24- hours, every day throughout the year. Tembo has seven bars, all well stocked with Kenyan and International Beverages.

Also available is the pool billiard lounge, a beauty centre and a variety of events throughout the year to satisfy every taste from live concerts to wrestling, boxing, body building and beauty contests.

Hot Disco Music and regularly held functions, like 'Live' Music Concerts with Kenyan and International Stars and Musical Bands, as well as entertaining Competitions, such as Boxing and American Wrestling Matches, Body Building and Beauty Contests guarantee maximum entertainment, unique of its kind in East Africa.
