Buccaneer Diving

The only PADI 5 star IDC Centers in Kenya, Buccaneer Diving, runs dive schools along the Mombasa coastline, with bases and representation in the Whitesands Hotel, the Voyager Hotel, Reef Hotel, Sun and Sands, Nyali Beach Hotel, Mombasa Beach Hotel and Lesoleil.

It organizes a variety of Dive Excursions for qualified divers, as well as teaching the entire range of PADI Courses from Entry level to Professional Qualifications. With a full time dedicated Marine Biologist on staff, it is committed to the environment and to educating about the fragile marine resources.

With a huge range of dive areas open, it is able to offer a diverse range of diving activities, from drift reef diving, to deep dives and spectacular night dives. The superb diving boats and unparalleled local knowledge allows it to boast a far wider selection of dive sites than any other diving school in the area.

In conjunction with the Kenya Wildlife Service, Buccaneer Diving has created East Africa's largest artificial reef by way of sinking a 75m decommissioned livestock vessel, the MV Dania.
